Brasas is the first ever Latin American Street Food restaurant in Manila. For your information, Latin America is composed of the following territories: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela ( plus a lot more – you can refer in Wikipedia). Personally, I have no idea how does Latin American food differ from the normal American food composed of sausages, fries, burgers, and a lot more *sinful* stuff. When I tried to google it, some of the famous Latin American street food include Carne Asada, Churros, and Tacos! So I guess, we are quite familiar with it since Mexican food is quite famous here in Manila.
The restaurant’s interiors has a very good ambiance. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a picture- but to describe it, it has a street like feeling- polished natural cement walls painted with Latin America maps and drawings, with Latin America background songs. I was able to try 2 of their branches, first in SM DC Condo Makati, and second in Daang Hari Evia branch.
We ordered several dishes as follows:
Patacones, 140 pesos for 5 pcs.
