Banzai is one of the newest buffet in Manila! It features an authentic Japanese buffet, very good ambiance, and of course, quality food!
Banzai is located in Mall of Asia Seaside, near the Ferris wheel. You can easily find it because of its large sign.
They have a trick art theater in the entrance and you can try it for free!
Once you enter the restaurant, you will definitely be amazed on how new, clean, and modern the place is. The owners really ensured that the customers will enjoy the ambiance and the design. It will give you a slight feeling that you are in Japan. We actually tried this for Weekday Lunch, but I bet that the place is way better at night because of the lights.
The food taste and quality is also good! What I love about it is that it has an authentic flavor and presentation as well. They even hired Japanese chefs! From a scale of 1-10, with 10 as the highest, the food taste and quality for me is 8/10.
One important note as well is that for some of the dishes like ramen, they cook the food once you order it- so it is still hot and fresh!
So, without further a do, let me share with you the pictures.
Their sushi and sashimi bar is also one of my favorite stops. The sushi is served via buffet while the sashimi is on a per order basis.
Their grilling station has the following dishes: Asparagus wrapped in bacon, Kani wrapped in bacon, plus other bbq dishes like yakitori.
They also have Tempura station but I forgot to take pictures. Nonetheless, they serve various types of tempura, and even Katsudon!
Their Teppanyaki area also has several dishes: Squid, Shrimp, Oyster, Chicken, Pork Teppan, Gohan, Yasai Itame, and a lot more.
They also have exhibition shows. What we witnessed is an exhibition of 4 chefs, trying to balance a bowl of rice, an egg plus other stuff by only using their kitchen utensil- turner! Cool right?
One of the best things I love with Banzai as well is their wide variety of quality desserts! They also have chilled desserts like mousse, and creme brulee, and all of these desserts are yummy and of quality! This is the station that I had several come backs.
