India is truly one of the countries with an inner magic sprinkle in it. For some, it might not be enticing, but I was lucky enough to experience it with good, and great people who made my whole India trip unforgettably fun. I will share in a separate post the adventures (work, food, tour, and lots of party) that me and my newly found friends had, but for now, let me share with you the highlight photos of my Agra trip.
For the record, I’ve traveled solo from Pune-New Delhi Airport, availed a 3d2n tour from Amin Tours (highly recommended, and make sure to ask Hilal to be your tour guide because he is also a very good photographer!), braved the 4 hour land travel to Agra with my very kind driver, and slept alone for 2 nights in Agra & Delhi. This trip is for the record- I thought my Hanoi trip last 2014 will be my only solo trip, but no-apparently my India chapter is a more epic one!
So, without further a do, feel free to look the best of Agra photos I have and hopefully it will encourage you to book your next trip to majestic India.
Just to share- my visit to Agra is nearly the peak Summer season in the area (June 9-11). It’s not really recommended since temperatures reach up to 50 deg C, and it literally feels being in an oven when you go outside of your car. Nonetheless, I still pushed with visiting the place because not all people will get the chance to be there all the time. If I’m the summer version of Elsa, I’ll just sing- “The heat never bothered me anyway”. *corny*
I’m also amazed with how the government of Agra tries to preserve everything. For example, for Taj Mahal, no polluting vehicles are allowed within 500 meter radius. Machines are also not allowed in the city so as to promote the local handicrafts and products and avoid pollution as well.
