Roasted Chicken is a famous Filipino dish in every home.. Wherever you go, you will surely find a store selling this in varying brands, promos, and sizes. Of course, the store that sells the most delicious and yummy chicken wins the game.
Kok’s Manok, is one of the newplayers in this business. With it’s tagline So Juicy, So Lambot!, you will surely be hungry just imagining how tasty it can be. As of now, it has its first take out restaurant in Imus, Cavite and has already gained a following in the vicinity.
At first glance, Kok’s manok is big, (can feed 4-5 people), and is definitely affordable, priced at 189 pesos for 1 whole chicken! It is definitely a must-have for your Noche Buena, and even family gatherings. The flavor that I’ve tried is their “Classic” Version. They also have Spicy and Garlic variants for those who want to have a little kick in their chicken flavors(priced at 199 pesos)
Upon tasting, Kok’s manok proves true to its tagline. The chicken meat is indeed juicy -cooked in a rotisserie at a precise temperature and time creating an evenly cooked chicken – inside and out! The Classic chicken is lightly salted though, so for those who want it a little more flavored (like me), it comes with a special sauce mixture and ketchup! If you are the usual Mang Tomas fan, then you can also use it to have the traditional Litson Manok taste.
One good thing with Kok’s manok is that their chicken is not oily. Once you eat it, your lips will not look like it’s newly brushed with lipgloss. Personally, I’m excited to try their Spicy variant and pair it further with hot sauce!
For those who want to try it, Kok’s manok has a very affordable price of 189 pesos, and you can even buy individual meals (1/4 chicken + rice) for your lunch or dinner! For the Holidays, they also have a special promo where you can save 45 pesos if you pre-order 2 days before Christmas and New year (applicable for bulk orders of 5 chicken or more).
So what are you waiting for? Try Kok’s Manok now!
